Anyone else noticed that the iTunes Mini store has departed us in this version?
Or am I missing it somewhere?
EDIT: Nope.... found it. I noticed the EQ went walk abouts too. Found it under the same menu

Yeah, well except for the 5 year contract they signed with Apple to continue making office.
Even if that weren't the case, Apple is GAINING market share. Those are people that don't have office for Mac. Why would Microsoft shoot itself in the foot. People forget that Microsoft and Apple aren't actually in direct competition. Not until Apple releases OSX openly on any box.
Yes, Parallels and VMware are better products, but that is not the point. Has no one else noticed the number of products Microsoft is canceling for the Mac. I do not believe that Microsoft sees a market for the Macintosh. This of course is purely a business perspective.
I for one think Apple will be taught a lesson in respect. The only logical solution is to kill off Mac Office universal binary support. If they want to run on the Intel platform, they can run on emulation.
It would not be much of a loss if Microsoft decided to pull the plug. Don't think they haven't taught about it. A three percent market share or 19 million desktop users does not even come close to the numbers that still use Windows 2000, never mind Windows 98. I of course don't wish this to happen, but it is one logical outcome.

Everyone else, thanks for the comments but now I have question: twitch or bounce?

the keynote should be made available on itunes as a free video podcast.
but it's not.
Should be? As in Apple is going to put it on there, or said they were going to, but haven't yet. OR Should be, as in YOU think that is what Apple should do?

i was planning on hitting up that same at&t store on cap hill. not willing to camp out overnight, but I might show up around six and scope out the situation.
i would guess the downtown folk might hit the store down in pacific place.

I've been using PSP ware since pretty much the launch of the PSP. It's an excellent application. Highly reccommend it. Cheers, T

http://www.javascript.com/ is a collection of copy and paste scripts, but it is interesting how some "problems" were approached by other people. You can learn a lot from analyzing javascripts coded by other people...

I went into the Irvine Spectrum store last Thursday and they had 32gigs. Picked one up on the spot. Best Buy and Radio Shack are still waiting for theirs.

Musclenerd tweeted that " the only iPad 2 jailbreak close to reality is" comex's.
Yea, just read this myself I know were not entitled to a jb, but what did p0is0ninja mean then? Was it a mistake?

if it hasn't been said before, then I'll say it. It'll be out when its ready.
You can't rush jailbreaks, there are bugs and glitches that have to be ironed out first. Even then you'd still have to compile it into a nice neat package so idiots won't brick their idevice from not following simple directions that require more than 3 steps. Just have patience and enjoy the OFW while you still can before you jump over to the jailbreak and appreciate its offerings more...when it's released that is.
an easy way to keep up to date is to follow the normal iphone devs and hackers on twitter like geohotz, musclenerd, comex, ...i'm sure there are others, they always post updates and repost news links and such.

Holy Crap!!!
I just noticed this. I thought I had the first post on it, too, but it appears that the "0 Comments" was outdated by 5 seconds.
I love it.
has anyone else noticed that apparently MacRumors is now XHTML compliant? At least it has the xhtml transitional doctype. i hadn't noticed that before.
Oh, yeah, Arn mentioned standards compliance. Score 1 XHTML!

Deep Vacuum
I have often done this with wget (http://directory.fsf.org/GNU/wget.html), which is free/GPL, and that is also what Deep Vacuum seems to be doing, it just gives you a GUI on top of wget.

Apple will probably update iPods with a slight tweak to their DRM, breaking any music people have downloaded from anyone other than Apple.

How about we reserve our comments on usability, interface and one-handed-ness until we see a demo... or a freaking production model for that matter.
sheesh. You all talk like you've used it.

P.S. SiliconAddict: the above comments are not made solely at you.
Right. Someone finds a patent filing, which only has to describe the patent with sufficient detail to gain acceptance, and many folk are conjecturing the final product. For general discussion that is great, and a reason to interact on forums like this one. However, I cringe when I read people's visceral response to something that does not even exist yet.

Either one will do well. Like the other poster said, once you use one for Photoshop or FCS, you won't use anything else. Good luck and have fun!

My wife and I were at home. For some reason she had the urge to turn on the TV. We stayed glued to the TV for hours. Like others watching history unfold before our very eyes.
