ONE kid had one on our floor (had no sink, though). we used to go and build beer box forts underneath it and what not. man, i miss residence.

Anyway, this is one of the few major mac desktop websites left. The others are dead (haven't been updated in a very long time) or just tooo SLOW (like Spymac's TheAppleCollection.com)

it was able to download a full website and would make changes as the site was updated in the background.
it looked real good

Seems 9.5mm is still the maximum height: http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/mac-mini/
yes, as someone who has done about two dozen hard drive upgrades on the newest gen mac mini's 9.5 mm is the spec.
750GB is the highest you will be able to go. A 750GB 7200RPM drive should set you back $100 - $110

There is not a viable read (bootable) install of either 10.4 or 10.5 on the primary hard drive. So you have a few options. If you want to stick with mac os? You need to either make your way to www.lowendmac.com, or ebay. to get a copy at a price you can afford. Or you might want to look at www.distrowatch.com for some viable alternatives. Granted Linux on the PPC arch is going out of style and fast, but for the time being it could be a fix to get you up and running until you can get a viable boot disk of Tiger or Leopard.

It depends. Did you use referenced masters or managed?
Old, yet still pretty relevant, articles on the subject ->
http://aperture.maccreate.com/2009/08/31/introduction-to-referenced-vs-managed-in-aperture/
http://aperture.maccreate.com/2010/01/12/tip-0-referenced-vs-managed-files/
I read both the files, i understand. But how can i see how my pictures where imported? I already had folders with pictures that i just dragged into the library. I cant recal seeing anything like referenced or managed masters?
thanks :)
(edit) in the import settings it is set as ''Store files: in the aperture library''

Thanks for your second reply. I have closed down the software now and will be heading to bed as it is 4am over here.
I think maybe I'll rule out this little project after all, or look at getting some kind of licence to do said activity.
Thanks for the heads up. :o

Well, I see for me, some one who isn't going to buy an extra device to play portable games (my iphone has enough games I like, and not just the stupid little angry bird type games, stuff like old rpgs (and some new designed for the phone) and racing games) good and bad in this.
Good in that it may tempt more of the bigger developers to make stuff for my device (like Square has made quite a few games now though many of it is old games redone but hey, they're still fun :) , Capcom has some though in general I don't think Capcom has gotten the hang of making good iphone games, not as impressed with their stuff, we have Gameloft as well).
Bad in that the stuff that is encouraging people to move over is the angry bird type games and that it appears to make the more in depth stuff isn't as profitable. So in the long run we may not see as many games come out that are profitable.
Already it is sad when you look at the console market a lot of games are just games based on popular movies and not much innovation (cause the games based on the movies make the money and stuff like Okami and more innovative stuff gets ignored). I remember when I was reading an article complaining about how that was the trend in games (it happened to movies too once blockbusters came out. Movie studios were more interested in making blockbusters than unique movies, basically finding a formula that worked and sticking with it rather than trying anything different).
I think in terms of portable games, whether on smartphones or not, the market will produce what people want to play. I think in the portable market specifically (very different from the console market, as much as Sony wants to pretend people want to play full console-style games on the go), there is more demand for quick pick-up-and-put-down games, particularly ones with some depth, addictiveness, and significant content, which we're seeing more and more of.
At the same time, more 'serious' games like Square's releases and the recent Death Rally, and many others seem to be doing well enough that people looking for that kind of content shouldn't be too worried. I just wouldn't expect, say, a full-blown Assassin's Creed or similar console game, because those are console games. I don't think nearly enough people want that kind of experience on a phone to justify the cost.
As for most console games being licenced garbage these days, I would point out that has always been the case, back to the NES/SNES days. People only remember all the good games because, well, that's all people remember.

Somebody pick one up for me (black 16 gig wi-fi) and deliver it to me here in Orem and I'll give you $5 for your time and gas money. Haha. ;) Ok, maybe I'd give you $50, but I'd have to go to the coinstar machine first!!!!

All I got was $15 for a complete Centris 650 earlier this summer. Thats completely functioning fresh install of OS 8.1, Apple monitor, Apple keyboard and mouse. Unfortunately, to most people its still just an old 68k Mac. Granted yours is a later AV, but I still wouldn't expect much.

You may have 18GB free HDD capacity, but Boot Camp needs the space it wants to partition in a continouos area, thus if you have 18GB free, the 10GB you want to partition might not be continouos enough for Boot Camp.
The only way to do this, would be to clone your existing Mac OS X installation onto an external HDD, then erasing the internal HDD while booted from Mac OS X on the external HDD and then cloning it all back.
Use CarbonCopyCloner (http://www.bombich.com) or SuperDuper (http://www.shirt-pocket.com/superduper/superduperdescription.html) to make a 1:1 copy.
How to format a new HDD to install Mac OS X or make a bootable copy onto (http://forums.macrumors.com/showpost.php?p=12483448&postcount=22)
So what you're saying is: Clone my current Mac OS X 10.6 drive then boot Mac OS X from there? And while I'm booting off of my Mac OS X drive, then I install Boot Camp from there right?
Thanks for the info too. :D

Hey, can anyone give any recommendations on a Bluetooth mouse? Can I use a Bluetooth mouse for both a Mac and PC? What is the distance you can use a mouse? Anybody know of any future products coming out that use Bluetooth?

Should I just wait for the battery to run out or what? Any help would be appreciated!
Just press and hold the power button for 5-10 seconds, until it shuts off. Then power it back on.

I just put iTunes on a PC. I also have a Mac. :D
My question is I have some songs on the PC that are windows media files I think. How do I import them into iTunes? I tryed doing the import and finding the songs but they did not show as if they were not there?
Or how can I convert those windows media files to a MP3 file?
Man I like my Mac much better. :D
Thank You
Jeff

I think that within a year or two even consumers will be demanding more picture quality. Even cheaper displays are beginning to have more contrast and wider gamut than crt's used to have. With new displays consumers start to see PQ problems with older content. This leads to demand for higher PQ content. Here in Finland, sd-dtv was generally considered high quality with older crt's, but when hd-lcd's got more common, people started complaining about artifacts.
And maybe even smaller movie companies start realizing that they need color management...
Well Said!! Agree totally --- thanks for the thoughts.

Heh, I was just sorting out my console collection today and found my 'Cube. Awesome little machine that was. But yea you should probably get;
Metroid Prime 1+2
Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes
Mario Kart Double Dash is okay
Smash Bros Melee is brilliant
F-Zero GX is brilliant
Viewtiful Joe and Resident Evil 4 are pretty fun too
Mario Sunshine? It's got some great moments but it's not as good as Mario 64 or Mario Galaxy.

You can also try the tool at Unused-CSS.com (http://unused-css.com). It'll check a bunch of pages and let you download the CSS files with just the used selectors.
